Who WE ARE?
LXL Molding was founded in Shenzhen in 1997 as a plastic injection molding company, building molds and molding furniture components for one of the largest home and office furniture manufacturers in Taiwan, China. That work set the standard we still hold: cosmetic surfaces, repeatable tolerances and delivery dates that do not move.
Today we run 23 injection molding presses, 14 robot take-outs and an in-house tool shop, and we deliver finished products rather than crates of parts — one team owns every handoff, so nothing stalls between stages. Our own brand, Garage Smart, sells motorized garage storage at garagesmart.com to 70,000+ US customers, so the retail standard gets tested on our own account first.
What we do?
Custom injection molding from 100 to 600 tons in ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PA, POM, PP, PE and PMMA, with the tool shop in the same building: DFM review of your 3D model before steel is cut, 20+ new molds a month in-house, first-article samples and the first production batch about 14 days after tool approval.
Beyond plastic — extrusion, silicone, stamped and laser-cut metal, PCBAs, batteries, motors — through partners we have used for years, on our drawings and our inspection plans. One purchase order covers the whole bill of materials, and four assembly lines turn it into a packed, inspected, export-ready unit: one shipment, one invoice, one ship date, FOB Shenzhen or DDP to your door.
LXL was established as a furniture components manufacturer specialized in injection plastic molding.
The invloved industries extended from furniture into but not limited to educational toys, consumer electronics appliants, wireless communications devices.
LXL developed a one stop service for product development including design concultancy, prototyping, mold buliding, mass production for injection plastic molding parts and supplychain management such as sourcing for PCBAs, battaries, motorboxes, metal part and assembly finished goods for shipping.
Officially became a stratigic partner with a USA company SmarterHome, LXL continued the main role in manufacturing and launching insides into marketing and branding.
Garage Smart became our own brand. We design, manufacture and sell it direct in the US, and the warranty comes back to us — not to a supplier three steps away.
