Overview
A custom oval tube end cap closes the open end of an elliptical profile tube and covers the cut edge. The oval face is molded to the tube section, and the plug body carries ring grooves that press against the inside wall, so the cap holds without a screw or a clip and pulls out again if the tube has to be opened. Because the face is closed, dust stays out of the hollow section, and the tube end reads as a finished part on a display rack or a furniture frame.
Because a custom oval tube end cap is molded, the oval face and the ring grooves are formed in one cycle, so the grooves stay even around the section and the cap seats to the same depth on every part.

Customization Options
Oval width, oval height, plug length, groove count, groove diameter and corner radius are all set by your 3D file. We mold in PA6, ABS, PP and glass filled nylon in any colour, and can add a ribbed back, a fixing hole or a step at the shoulder where the cap has to sit flush. A revised custom oval tube end cap usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new tube section keeps the same groove pattern.

Parts are checked for oval width, oval height, plug length and groove diameter, and first articles are sent for approval before the run continues.
