Overview
A hose barb fitting joins a hose to a tube in one molded part. One end is a smooth stem that slides into a tube or a bore, the other end is barbed so a flexible hose pushes straight on and holds without a clamp, and a flange stops the stem at the depth you set.
The barbs are molded as a row of raised rings that taper toward the tip, so the hose rides over them on the way in and the rings hold it back under pressure.
The body is molded in acetal as one piece, so the stem, the flange and the barb rings form in one cycle, and the bore runs straight through with no step between the stem and the barbs.
Because a hose barb fitting is molded, the stem diameter, the barb pitch and the bore are set in the tool, so the stem that enters your tube and the barb that holds your hose are matched on one part.
Our plastic threaded adapter screws into a port through a brass insert, and our threaded union fitting joins two threaded lines on a hex body, while a hose barb fitting pushes onto a hose instead. Our threaded plastic nozzle fittings carry an external thread at the base, and our white plastic water pipe connector branches a circuit through threaded ports.

Customization Options
Stem diameter, stem length, barb count, barb pitch, flange diameter, bore diameter and overall length are all set by your 3D file. We mold the part in acetal in the gray shown, or in the color you specify, and the bore is sized to the flow your line needs. A revised hose barb fitting needs only a tool insert change, so a different stem diameter keeps the same barb form.

Each hose barb fitting is checked for stem diameter, stem length, bore diameter and flange diameter, and the barb pitch and the crest diameter are gauged.
