Overview

A rubber anti-vibration foot sits between an equipment housing and the surface it stands on, and takes the shake out of the frame before it reaches the floor. The pad is molded as a rounded triangle, so there is no sharp corner to catch and the load spreads across a wide face.

A central bore runs through the pad and takes the mounting stud, and two small fixing holes on the flat face each take a screw, so the foot is held to the housing while the stud is tightened.

The body is molded in rubber in the black and the gray shown, and one tool runs both shades on a color change.

Because a rubber anti-vibration foot is molded, the triangle outline, the central bore and the two fixing holes are formed in one cycle, so the bore stays centered and the foot sits flat on every part.

Our cylindrical support foot is a plastic cylinder that lifts a cabinet off the floor rather than damping it; a rubber anti-vibration foot works on the shake itself. Our chrome leveling foot sets height on a threaded stud, and our custom leveling foot levels equipment on an uneven floor.

Customization Options

Pad outline, pad thickness, the central bore diameter, the stud size, the fixing hole diameter and the hole spacing are all set by your 3D file. We mold the pad in rubber in the black and the gray shown, and the hardness follows the load and the shake the foot has to take. A revised rubber anti-vibration foot needs only a tool insert change, so a larger bore keeps the same outline.

Quality & Delivery

Each rubber anti-vibration foot is checked for pad outline, pad thickness and bore diameter, and the two fixing holes are gauged for spacing. First articles are sent for approval, so a rubber anti-vibration foot arrives ready to fit. Send your 3D file through our quotation page and we will confirm the rubber grade, the hardness and the lead time.

Related Capabilities

A rubber anti-vibration foot is molded in the same shop as our cylindrical support foot, which is a plastic cylinder with a flange, and our custom leveling foot, which sets a machine level on a threaded stud. Our chrome leveling foot turns on a threaded stud above a black base ring.

An equipment case such as our extruded aluminum enclosure sits on four of these feet, with the stud run through the central bore, and where the shake comes from a moving part our custom molded bumper takes the impact at the end of a stroke. The tool for a new pad is cut in house on our mold making line, and the parts run under our injection molding service.
