Overview
Our cable drag chain links are custom injection molded segments that build a cable carrier loop. Each link carries two side plates with a round pivot boss and a matching socket, so the chain bends in one plane and stays stiff in the other. A cross bar between the plates leaves an open window where cables and hoses run. Each segment comes out of the tool in one shot, so a loop of any length is built from the same part.
We mold the link segments strictly to your drawing, and the matching end brackets and separators can be molded in the same order.
Key Features & Benefits
– Round pivot boss — the links hinge on a molded pin and socket joint
– Open cable window — the gap between the plates carries cables and hoses
– Flat side plates — the outer faces keep the loop aligned in a machine
– Snap-fit segments — the links press together by hand on the assembly line
– Wear grade — the pivot keeps its fit after long travel
– Rounded link edges — the loop runs without snagging on the frame
– Flat inner faces — cables slide through without chafing the wall
– Any loop length — the carrier is built from as many links as the travel needs
Customization Options
Full OEM & ODM injection molding service. We customize link pitch, plate height, window width, pivot pin diameter, travel radius and plastic grade including PA, POM, PP and PC. We also mold the matching end brackets, separators and mounting plates for the same loop, and support colour matching with matte or textured finish. Tooling design support and DFM feedback on pivot clearance and plate stiffness are included before mold making.
Quality & Delivery
Every batch of the cable drag chain links passes dimensional inspection against the customer drawing before shipment, and link pitch and pivot bore are checked with a gauge on each production lot. First article samples with a full inspection report are provided for approval. Send your 3D file or sample for a quick quotation.
