Overview
An electroplated plastic furniture leg carries a sofa, a tea table or a cabinet base on a curved body with a bright plated surface. The body is molded as a curved column with a wide base edge that spreads the load, and the top face carries a mounting hole that takes the fixing screw into the frame. The plated surface wraps the curved face and the base rim evenly, so the leg reads as a metal part from the side.
Because an electroplated plastic furniture leg is molded first and plated afterwards, the curve, the base rim and the mounting hole are all formed in one cycle, and the plating covers a molded surface with no welded joints to thin out at the corners.
This leg is a decorative furnishing part, so it is quoted by shape, height and plating colour. Where a base needs a levelling thread instead of a fixed leg, our custom leveling foot carries a threaded stud for height adjustment.

Customization Options
Body height, base diameter, base rim width, curve radius, mounting hole size and plating colour are all set by your 3D file. We mold the body in ABS and other plating grades, and the surface is plated in nickel, chrome, gold or bronze tones, polished or satin, to match the rest of the furniture hardware. A revised electroplated plastic furniture leg usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new curve keeps the same base and hole.
Quality & Delivery
Each electroplated plastic furniture leg is checked for body height, base diameter, base rim width and mounting hole size, and the plating is inspected for coverage and colour before packing. First articles are sent for approval, so an electroplated plastic furniture leg arrives ready to fix. Send your 3D file through our quotation page and we will confirm material, plating and lead time.
Related Capabilities
An electroplated plastic furniture leg is molded on our ABS plastic injection molding line, and the plated finish is applied to the molded body before packing. The polished hardware for the same furniture is covered by our metal oval ring handle, and where a base needs a levelling thread instead, our custom leveling foot carries a threaded stud. All of them are produced in house under our injection molding service.
