Overview
This white plastic hex nut is a custom injection molded part produced to your 3D file. It carries a hexagonal body, a central threaded bore and a smooth molded surface, so it fastens and positions parts in electronic assemblies, light machinery and insulating connections. Typical uses are panel fastening, positioning of small parts and non-metallic joints in compact equipment. The nut is molded in white as shown, and other colors can run from the same tool.

Key Features & Benefits
– Hexagonal body — turns with a standard wrench or socket
– Threaded central bore — matches the screw or bolt thread on your drawing
– Smooth molded surface — seats flat against the panel
– Wider base section — sits below the hex body as shown in the photo
– Plastic body — a non-metallic part for insulating connections
– Molded in one shot — the hex and the thread come off the tool as one part

Customization Options
The across-flats, the thread size, the bore depth and the overall height are all set in the tool, so they follow your 3D file instead of a catalogue size. Send the fastener requirement and the assembly need with the file, and we confirm the draft angles, the shrinkage allowance and the gate position before steel is cut. If the nut has to match an existing screw, send that thread as well, and we hold it in the tool.

Every plastic hex nut is measured against your 3D file before shipment, and the inspection record stays with the tool for repeat orders. Tooling can be modified later for a new thread size or a different across-flats.

Ordering and quotation
Send your 3D file with the fastener requirement and the yearly volume. You receive a molding quotation that lists tooling cost, cycle time and sample lead time, and the yearly volume also decides how many cavities the tool should carry. We flag any feature that cannot mold cleanly at the wall you need before the quotation goes out.
