Overview
This custom molded bumper base is molded as a round pad with a crowned face and a center bore, so it cushions the load and locates on a stud at the same time. The rounded edge lets equipment slide over the pad without catching, and the bore takes a bolt or a locating pin. A soft grade absorbs impact and damps vibration, while a firmer grade holds position where the pad works as a foot.
A custom molded bumper replaces a stack of stock bumpers when the equipment needs a specific face profile and a specific grade of softness.

Customization Options
Outside diameter, pad thickness, crown height, bore diameter and edge radius are all set by your 3D file. We mold in elastomer and soft plastic grades such as TPE, and in firmer PP, ABS and PA6 where the part works as a rigid pad. A custom molded bumper can also be molded with a recessed base or a counterbore where the fixing sits below the surface.
Quality & Delivery
Parts are checked for outside diameter, thickness, bore size and crown height, and first articles are sent for approval before the run continues. Each custom molded bumper is checked against the approved first article again before it is packed.
