Overview
A four wing bracket carries its fixing points on four angled wings that sit around the body, so the part bolts down at the corners and the centre stays clear. Each wing is a flat tab with a screw hole, and the body between them is a plate with side ribs that stiffen it.
A raised circular boss at the centre carries a through hole, and a rectangular window below the boss leaves an opening through the body with a small clip molded inside it.
Because a four wing bracket is molded, the wings, the boss, the window and the ribs are formed in one cycle, so the screw holes sit at the same spacing on every part and the wings keep their angle.
Our plastic mounting bracket is molded as a rigid part with a splined bore that grips a shaft, while this four wing bracket carries its fixing points on the wings instead. Our custom angle bracket is folded into an L for a corner joint, and our custom corner connector holds two panels square, so both of those are corner parts rather than a flat bracket.
Key Features & Benefits
– Four angled wings — screw holes at the corners
– Central boss — raised ring with a bore
– Side ribs — stiffen the body between wings
– Window — opening with a molded clip
– One-piece body — wings and boss in one cycle
Customization Options
Wing length, wing angle, wing thickness, screw hole diameter, body width, boss height and boss bore are all set by your 3D file. We mold the part in glass filled nylon, PA6 and ABS in any colour, and can add a second boss, a deeper window or extra ribs where the bracket has to carry more. A revised four wing bracket usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new wing length keeps the same body.
Quality & Delivery
Each four wing bracket is checked for wing length, wing angle, screw hole diameter and boss height, and the body is gauged flat before the run continues. First articles are sent for approval, so a four wing bracket arrives ready to bolt down. Send your 3D file through our quotation page and we will confirm material, colour and lead time.
