Overview
A clamp collar fits around a tube, a rod or a shaft and tightens onto it with a screw, so the collar holds its position on the run. The body is a ring with an open bore through the middle, and a knurled screw enters the ring from the side, with a T-shaped hand knob on the end for turning it between the fingers.
The bore is left smooth, so the collar slips onto the tube by hand and grips it around the full wall when the screw is tightened.
Because a clamp collar is molded, the ring, the bore and the screw boss are formed in one cycle, so the bore stays round on every part and the screw boss sits square to the ring.
Our plastic tube clamp connector is a block that joins a tube to a support frame, while this clamp collar is a ring that fits around a tube or a shaft and tightens directly onto it. Our custom ring bushing is a plain annular spacer with no screw at all, and our custom round sleeve guides a shaft inside a housing instead.

Customization Options
Bore diameter, ring width, ring thickness, screw thread, screw length and knob shape are all set by your 3D file. We mold the ring in PA6, ABS, POM and glass filled nylon in any colour, and set the metal screw into the boss so the thread stays square to the ring. The collar is molded across several bore diameters to cover one tube range, and a revised clamp collar usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new bore keeps the same ring.
Quality & Delivery
Each clamp collar is checked for bore diameter, ring width, ring thickness and screw length, and the thread is worked through a full turn during inspection.
