Overview
A miniature roof is molded as a hollow shell with two sloping faces that meet at a ridge, so it drops over the walls of a model and closes the top. A beaded ridge cap runs along the join, and each slope carries rows of molded tile that step down toward the eaves, so the surface reads as laid tiles rather than a flat panel.
The ends are closed as triangular gables, and the underside is left open, which keeps the part light and lets it sit over a wall of your own thickness.
Each miniature roof is molded in one piece, so the ridge, the tile rows and the gable ends hold the same line on every part and no separate ridge piece has to be fitted.

Customization Options
Roof length, roof width, ridge height, slope angle, tile pitch, tile relief height, gable depth and ridge cap diameter are all set by your 3D file. We mold the parts in ABS, PP and PS in any colour, with a matte or gloss face, and the tile pattern is cut into the tool from your own file, so the artwork stays yours. A revised miniature roof usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new roof length keeps the same ridge.
