Overview
Our brown connector housing is a custom injection molded body for a multi-contact plug connection. Metal pins sit inside the recessed front cavity behind a molded shroud, and a latch rib on the top face holds the mating plug in place. Side guide rails line the two halves up before the pins engage, and molded feet under the body take screws or bolts. The body is molded in one piece, so the contact layout repeats from part to part. We mold to your drawing, and we do not supply the stamped contacts, seals or finished cable assembly.
Key Features & Benefits
– Recessed pin cavity — the shroud protects the contact pins until the mating plug is inserted
– Latch rib on top — the molded catch holds the mating plug against vibration and pull
– Side guide rails — the rails line the plug up before the pins touch, which reduces bent contacts
– Mounting feet — the body bolts to a panel or bracket without a separate base
– Thick outer walls — the section around the cavity resists flex when the plug is pushed in
– One-piece molded body — cavity, latch and rails come from a single tool
Customization Options
Full OEM & ODM injection molding service. We customize cavity size, pin count and pitch, latch geometry, keying ribs, mounting foot position and plastic grade including PA66, PBT, PA and ABS. Insert molding of metal pins and contacts is available, and we support color matching, matte or textured finish and molded part markings. Tooling design support and DFM feedback on pin pitch and latch draft are included before mold making.
Quality & Delivery
Every batch of the brown connector housing passes dimensional inspection against the customer drawing before shipment, and pin pitch and cavity depth are checked with a gauge on each production lot. First article samples with a full inspection report are provided for approval. Send your 3D file or sample for a quick quotation.
