Overview
A custom square tube cover slips over the end of a rectangular or square tube and closes the cut edge. The square bore is molded to the profile size and the wall is kept even on all four sides, so the cover grips the tube without play and stays square to the frame. The outer edges are rounded, which keeps the frame end smooth where it stands next to a panel.
Because a custom square tube cover is molded, the bore and the outer profile are formed in one cycle with no welding and no secondary cutting.
The cover is used on equipment frames, display racks, bracket posts and support legs, and it also seats over a T-slot profile where the exposed end has to look finished.

Customization Options
Bore size, wall thickness, cover height, corner radius and outer profile are all set by your 3D file. We mold in PA6, ABS, PP and glass filled nylon in any colour, and can add a closed end, a side slot, a fixing hole or a grip rib where the cover has to stay on the tube. A revised custom square tube cover usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new height keeps the same square bore.
Quality & Delivery
Parts are checked for bore size, wall thickness, cover height and squareness, and first articles are sent for approval before the run continues. The bore is gauged against the tube size you specify. Packing keeps the covers from pressing on each other, so a custom square tube cover arrives ready to fit.
