Overview
This green threaded union fitting is a custom injection molded part produced to your drawing. It joins two threaded lines through a molded hex body and a knurled band, so a pipe or hose connection can be hand tightened before a final pass with a wrench on the hex flats. The body is molded in stacked steps rather than machined from stock, so the green color is molded in and the part needs no secondary finishing.

Key Features & Benefits
– Molded hex body — a wrench or socket can grip the flats for the final torque
– Knurled grip band — the joint can be hand tightened without reaching for a tool
– Internal thread in the top opening — matches the thread callout on your drawing
– Stacked molded steps — the thread form and the hex flats repeat from cavity to cavity
– Green color as shown — the molded shade stays the same from part to part

Customization Options
The thread, the across-flats of the hex, the knurl pitch and the overall height are all set in the tool, so they can be changed without a new design. Send the connection size, the working pressure and the resin you need, and we confirm draft angles, shrinkage and gate location before steel is cut.

Color is molded to your Pantone or RAL reference, so a threaded union fitting needs no painting or coating step. We also advise on wall thickness and thread depth, because a thread that is too coarse or too fine will not mold cleanly at the wall you need. If the part later changes color or size, we modify the existing tool rather than build a new one.

Ordering and quotation
Send your 3D file with the thread callout and the yearly volume. You receive a molding quotation that lists tooling cost, cycle time and sample lead time, and molded samples are measured against your 3D file before shipment. The yearly volume also decides how many cavities the tool should carry.
