Overview

These custom machined flange and disc parts are turned and milled from aluminum or steel bar and plate stock, with a center bore, a machined face and a bolt hole pattern positioned to your 3D file. The raised center boss and stepped face let the part seat against a mating surface without extra spacer rings, and the chamfered edge protects the seating face through handling. Because each custom machined flange is cut from solid stock rather than cast, small batches and one-off design revisions stay economical.

Key Features & Benefits

– Center bore and stepped face — turned in one setup for concentricity
– Bolt hole pattern — drilled and positioned to your 3D file
– Raised boss and chamfered edge — protect the seating face
– Aluminum, steel, stainless and brass — matched to the application
– Disc, flange and spacer formats — produced from one program

Customization Options

Outside diameter, bore size, step depth, overall thickness and bolt hole pattern are all set by your 3D file. We machine aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel and brass, and can supply parts as-machined or with a fine turned finish where the face meets a seal. Prototypes, spare parts and production runs use the same program, so a revised custom machined flange does not need a new setup.

Quality & Delivery

Inspection covers outside diameter, bore size, hole position and face runout, and a dimensional report is supplied when the part is critical to an assembly. First articles are sent for approval before the run continues, and each custom machined flange is packed to protect the machined face in transit. Send your 3D file through our quotation page and we will confirm material, tolerance and lead time.

Related Capabilities

These metal parts sit alongside our molded plastic central-bore mounting flange and plastic flanged hub, which we produce when a design calls for a lighter non-metallic component. Our mold-making team also machines the steel and aluminum details that go inside the molds themselves, so hard materials are part of the daily workload.
