Overview
A cylindrical plastic enclosure is molded as a plain tube, so the housing has a round wall with no flat side and no parting step along its length. One end takes a trim ring, and the other stays open for the board and the working parts.
Inside the wall, molded keys locate the mating part as it slides in, and screw bosses give the board a fixing point that does not need a separate bracket.
The enclosure can be supplied on its own for your own line, or assembled here with the board, the harness and the small parts into a working mini humidifier. Components such as the board are sourced to your specification and checked on arrival.
Because a cylindrical plastic enclosure is molded in one piece, the tube, the keys and the bosses are formed to the same 3D file, so a housing made in one run fits the parts made in the next.
Our red injection molded enclosure is a flat long strip case with a snap-fit cover, and our oval USB enclosure closes with a hinged lid, while a cylindrical plastic enclosure is a round tube with no lid of its own. Our black snap-fit enclosure closes on molded latches, and our transparent electronic enclosure keeps the board visible through a clear wall.

Customization Options
Tube diameter, tube length, wall thickness, trim ring height, key width, key position, boss size and boss spacing are all set by your 3D file. We mold the tube in ABS, PP and PC in any color, with a matte or gloss face. A revised cylindrical plastic enclosure usually needs only a tool insert change, so a longer tube keeps the same keys and bosses.
Quality & Delivery
Each cylindrical plastic enclosure is checked for tube diameter, tube length and wall thickness, and the keys and the trim ring fit are gauged before the run continues. Where the unit is assembled here, finished goods go through a functional test before they are packed. First articles are sent for approval, so a cylindrical plastic enclosure arrives ready to fit.
