Overview
A molded plastic spacer is a short ring — a round outer wall, a straight center bore and two flat faces, molded in one cycle. Height and wall section vary with the job: a thin ring that takes up a gap, or a taller body that sets a distance apart. Some rings carry small holes around the bore.
Our custom ring bushing runs as a molded spacer ring, the clear double-ring spacer carries two rings on one web, and the custom round sleeve runs as a shaft guide. This molded plastic spacer is molded to the diameter, bore and height your 3D file calls for.
Key Features & Benefits
- One cycle per part — bore and both faces come off the same tool
- Bore true — the center hole holds the shaft your 3D file names
- Faces parallel — the ends sit square, so a stack keeps its height
- Wall even — the outer wall stays round and the ring seats flat
- Shim to sleeve — outer diameter and height run to your model
Because a molded plastic spacer comes off a tool cut to your 3D file, the bore, the wall and the height repeat across the run.
Customization Options
Outer diameter, bore diameter, height, wall section, hole pattern and resin all come from your 3D file, so a molded plastic spacer is made for the stack you already run.
- Outer diameter and height — from your 3D file
- Bore diameter — matched to your shaft or stud
- Resin — picked to suit the duty and the medium at your end
- Color — black, white or another shade, single or two-tone
Quality & Delivery
Tooling for a molded plastic spacer is cut in our own shop. The first article of every molded plastic spacer is gauged against your 3D file — bore, diameter, height and wall — before the run is released.
Surface finish comes off the tool: the mold faces are polished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush with the face, and the parts leave without flash. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged before packing.
We mold each molded plastic spacer to your 3D file, so the bore, the wall and the height follow the model. Send the 3D file and we return a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.

Tooling and molding both run in house — on our mold making floor and our injection molding service presses. The plastic roller hub carries a ring on a wheel body. Send your 3D file for a quotation.
