Overview

A U pull handle is a molded plastic handle shaped as a U, with a mounting pad at each end and a profiled grip across the middle. Each pad carries molded screw bosses, so the handle fixes to a panel at two points and stands off the face far enough for fingers to close around the grip. The body, the pads, the bosses and the grip come off one tool as a single part.

It sits with the other grab and pull parts we mold. Our curved pull handle bows across a face, the flush pull handle sits down inside a recess, and the recessed pull handle stays within the wall of a door. This U pull handle stands off the panel on two pads.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Two mounting pads — both fixing points molded to your model
  • Screw bosses — set into each pad where your screw lands
  • Profiled grip — a shaped face the hand closes around
  • Stand-off — the body clears the panel between the pads
  • Rounded ends — eased so the part handles cleanly

Because a U pull handle is molded to your 3D file, the pad spacing and the boss positions repeat cavity to cavity, so every handle in a run lands on the same fixing points.

Customization Options

Pad spacing, grip profile, pad thickness, boss, resin and color all come from your 3D file, so a U pull handle suits your panel.

  • Pads — spacing and pad size from your model
  • Grip — profile and section from your section view
  • Boss — placed where your screw lands
  • Resin — the grade your part calls for
  • Color — a shade you match, a molded-in color or a two-tone split
  • Finish — the sheen your 3D file calls for

Quality & Delivery

Tooling for a U pull handle is cut in our own mold shop, and the first article of every handle is gauged against your 3D file — pad spacing, boss position, grip section and overall length — before the run is released.

Mold faces are finished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush, and the pad faces come off the mold clean so the handle seats without play. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged on the same instruments before packing.

We mold each U pull handle to your 3D file, so the pads, the bosses and the grip follow the model. Send the 3D file and we return a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.
