Overview
A soap box is a molded two-part set: a tray with drain slots in its floor, and a base underneath that holds the water running off. The tray drops onto a lip inside the base, so the two parts stand as one piece on a sink edge or a shelf. Raised ribs between the slots lift the bar clear of the openings. The tray and the base come off a matched pair of tools, so a soap box from one tool set always meets the same way.
It sits with the other household parts we mold. Our tissue box dispenses sheets, the food storage container closes on a snap lid, the hinged lid container swings open on a hinge, and the ribbed tray sets its ribs on a flat floor. This soap box is the one that drains into itself.
Key Features & Benefits
- Slots — drain openings molded to your model
- Raised ribs — the bar rests clear of the slot floor
- Seating lip — the tray drops into the base
- Deep base — the wall holds what runs off
- Two parts — tray and base molded as a matched pair
Because a soap box is molded to your 3D file, the slot pattern, the lip and the base wall repeat cavity to cavity, so every set in a run assembles the same way.
Customization Options
Tray size, slot pattern, base wall, lip step, resin and color all come from your 3D file.
- Tray — outline, depth and slot pattern from your model
- Base — wall height and lip step from your model
- Ribs — position and height on the tray floor
- Resin — the grade your part calls for
- Color — a shade you match, a molded-in color or a two-tone split
- Finish — the sheen your 3D file calls for
Quality & Delivery
Tooling for a soap box is cut in our own mold shop, and the first article of every tray and base is gauged against your 3D file before the run is released.
Mold faces are finished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush on the base wall, and the lip comes off the mold clean so the tray seats without play. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged on the same instruments before packing.
We mold every soap box to your 3D file, so the tray, the slots and the base follow the model. Send the 3D file for a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.
