Overview
A ball foot closes the bottom of a round tube and stands it on the floor. The part is polished metal: a ball at the floor end, a flat collar above it, and a ribbed shank with an open bore that takes the round tube.
The shank carries four slots, and a row of ribs runs across the segments between them. The collar sits wider than the shank, so the cut edge of the tube stays behind it.
Because a ball foot is metal, the ball, the collar and the shank come through as one polished body, so the ball runs smooth on a hard floor and the ribs keep a defined edge.
Our black oval tube plug is molded with layered ribs that press into an elliptical tube to close the end, and our custom oval tube end cap carries ring grooves behind a closed face. A ball foot is the other way round: it stands the tube on the floor rather than sealing the bore. Our chrome leveling foot sets its height inside a plated cover shell.

Customization Options
Every dimension of a ball foot is set by your 3D file: ball diameter, collar diameter, shank diameter, shank length, slot width, rib pitch and bore depth. The body is polished, or finished the way your 3D file calls for, and where a new tube size comes in the shank is re-cut to suit while the ball size stays as it is.
Quality & Delivery
Each ball foot is checked for ball diameter, collar diameter, shank diameter and bore depth, and the slots and the ribs are gauged for spacing. First articles are sent for approval, so a ball foot arrives ready to fit. Send your 3D file through our quotation page and we will confirm the metal, the finish and the lead time.
