Overview
A custom adjustment handle locks an equipment arm or a display bracket at the angle the operator sets. The molded grip body sits on one side of the joint and the toothed connector on the other, so the two halves mesh and hold the position while the star knob is tightened. A threaded stud in the knob runs through both parts, which means the joint is released in a few turns and readjusted without tools.
The grip body is long enough for a firm hold, and the toothed joint keeps the setting from creeping once the knob is snug.
Because a custom adjustment handle is molded, the grip, the toothed joint and the connector are produced as matching parts in one program, so the teeth line up and the stud passes cleanly. The assembly is supplied as a complete set or as individual components for a spares list.

Customization Options
Grip length, grip diameter, tooth count, knob diameter, stud thread and stud length are all set by your 3D file. We mold in PA6, ABS, PP and glass filled nylon in any colour, and can supply the handle on its own, the knob on its own or the joint as a separate part. A revised custom adjustment handle is usually handled with a tool insert change, so a new grip length keeps the same joint teeth.
Quality & Delivery
Parts are checked for grip length, tooth profile, stud thread and knob fit, and the joint is assembled to confirm that the teeth mesh at every position. First articles are sent for approval before the run continues. Packing keeps the handles from pressing on each other, so a custom adjustment handle arrives ready to fit.
