Overview
A plastic cutting board is molded as a flat, even board with a half-round notch cut into one edge. The outline is molded in several shapes, so round, oval, octagon and rounded rectangle boards come from one tool family, and the top face carries a bevel that runs down to the rim.
The board is molded at an even thickness, so the face stays flat across the whole board and does not rock on a counter.
Because a plastic cutting board is molded in one piece, the outline, the edge notch and the bevel are formed to the same 3D file, so every board in a run matches the shape and the notch sits in the same place.
Our plastic food storage container is molded as a body with a snap lid that closes on food, while a plastic cutting board is a flat open board with no lid. Our white rectangular tray is molded with side walls and ribs for holding parts, and it is not a flat board.

Customization Options
Board length, board width, board thickness, corner radius, edge bevel, notch diameter and notch position are all set by your 3D file. We mold the boards in PP, ABS and acrylic in any color, with a matte or gloss face, and the outline is cut into the tool from your own file, so the shape stays yours. A revised plastic cutting board usually needs only a tool insert change, so a new outline keeps the same thickness and notch.

Each plastic cutting board is checked for board length, board width, board thickness and notch diameter, and the flatness of the face is gauged before the run continues.
