Overview
A connecting bracket is a molded link that ties two rod ends together on a machine. One end of the body carries a round bore, the other carries an open square window, and two screw points cross the side wall between them. The part is molded in one piece over a base flange, so the link has a flat bearing face along its base and both openings sit in line with the faces you set in your model.
It sits beside the other link parts we mold. Our molded connecting plate is a flat link with two holes, the corner connector ties two panels at a corner, and the five way tube connector joins rails at a frame cross. This connecting bracket is the one that couples two rod ends.
Key Features & Benefits
- Round bore — molded to the diameter you call out
- Open window — a squared opening in the same body
- Screw points — two points cross the side wall
- Base flange — a flat face along the bottom
- Side wall — carries the openings end to end
- One piece — bore, window and screw points off one mold
Because a connecting bracket is molded to your 3D file, the bore, the window and the screw points repeat cavity to cavity, so every link leaves the press the same way.
Customization Options
Length, height, bore, window, wall and color all come from your 3D file, so a connecting bracket is molded for the machine it links.
- Bore — sized to the rod end you fit
- Window — squared to the end you take
- Screw points — molded to the spacing you set
- Flange — the base face you call out
- Resin — the grade your part calls for
- Color — a green grade, a shade you match or a two-tone split
Quality & Delivery
Tooling for a connecting bracket is cut in our own shop, and the first article of every link is gauged against your 3D file — bore, window, screw points and base flange — before the run is released.
Mold faces are finished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush on the flange, and the parting line is dressed level along the wall. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged on the same instruments before packing.
We mold each connecting bracket to your 3D file, so the bore, the window and the screw points follow the model. Send the 3D file and we return a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.
