Overview
A bulkhead fitting is molded as one clear part: a square flange plate with a threaded sleeve standing on it, and a bore running through both. The sleeve takes a mating thread, the flange beds against a wall, and the bore carries the line through it.
Our white plastic water pipe connector joins two runs, the threaded plastic nozzle fittings carry a molded stem, and the threaded union fitting ties two threads together. This bulkhead fitting is molded from clear resin, so the bore reads through the wall it passes.
Key Features & Benefits
- One part, one cycle — flange and sleeve come off the same tool
- Thread formed in steel — the sleeve needs no cutting after molding
- Square flange — a flat face that beds on a wall or a panel
- Center bore — the passage runs straight through the part
- Clear resin — the flow path reads through the fitting
Because a bulkhead fitting is molded to your 3D file, the flange, the thread and the bore arrive on one set of numbers.
Customization Options
Flange size and thickness, sleeve diameter, thread size, bore diameter and resin all come from your 3D file, so a bulkhead fitting is molded for the tank or the panel you already run.
- Flange size and thickness — from your 3D file
- Sleeve diameter and thread — matched to your mating part
- Bore diameter — sized to the tube you pass
- Resin — clear, tinted or opaque, picked for the duty
- Color — clear, white or another shade, single or two-tone
Quality & Delivery
Tooling for a bulkhead fitting is cut in our own shop. The first article of every bulkhead fitting is gauged against your 3D file — flange thickness, sleeve diameter, thread fit and bore — before the run is released.
The thread is molded, not cut, so the sleeve leaves the tool complete. Mold faces are polished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush with the flange, and no flash reaches a mating face. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged before packing.
We mold each bulkhead fitting to your 3D file, so the flange, the sleeve and the bore follow the model. Send the 3D file and we return a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.
Related Capabilities
Pipe and tube parts sit beside this bulkhead fitting. The plastic threaded adapter steps between two threads, the plastic pipe elbow turns a run, the drainage nozzle drains a machine, and the hose barb fitting takes a flexible line.
Tooling and molding both run in house — on our mold making floor and our injection molding service presses. The three-way plastic connector splits a run. Send your 3D file for a quotation.
