Overview
A steel flanged cover closes a bore with one machined piece. A round face carries a shallow crown and a raised hub, and a hole runs through the middle of that hub. Under the face a flanged skirt drops into the seat, and a bead runs around the base of the skirt.
A keyed notch and a matching lug are cut into the skirt, so a steel flanged cover indexes against the seat it was made for.
Our custom machined flange and disc pairs a flange with a flat disc in aluminum and steel, and the machined metal housing leaves the machine as a closed shell; this steel flanged cover is a machined cap whose bore sits in the middle of a keyed skirt.
