Overview

A push-in snap bushing is molded in one cycle: a round outer wall, a latch leg that springs out behind a panel, and a center bore through the top. The part is pressed into a hole from one side of the panel, and the leg locks it from the other side.

Our custom cable grommet lines a desk port, the custom guard ring protects a cable hole, and the custom ring bushing runs as a spacer ring. This push-in snap bushing presses into a panel hole and holds on the far side.

Key Features & Benefits

  • One cycle — the wall, the leg and the bore come off one tool
  • Round wall — the body enters the hole on a straight line
  • Latch leg — the leg springs out and holds the part in the panel
  • Center bore — the passage stays open through the part
  • Flange face — the top beds flat on the panel surface

Because a push-in snap bushing is molded to your 3D file, the wall, the leg and the bore repeat cavity to cavity.

Customization Options

Body diameter, wall thickness, leg length, bore diameter and resin all come from your 3D file, so a push-in snap bushing is molded for the panel you already run.

  • Body diameter — sized to your hole
  • Wall and leg — set to the panel thickness
  • Bore diameter — matched to your tube, cable or screw
  • Resin — picked to the flex and the duty at your end
  • Color — white, black or another shade, single or two-tone

Quality & Delivery

Tooling for a push-in snap bushing is cut in our own shop, and the first article of every push-in snap bushing is gauged against your 3D file — body diameter, wall, leg, bore and the hold in the panel — before the run is released.

Mold faces are polished to the sheen your 3D file calls for, the gate is trimmed flush with the flange, and the leg leaves the tool ready to spring. Lead time is quoted with the unit price and held to the date, and each batch is gauged before packing.

We mold each push-in snap bushing to your 3D file, so the wall, the leg and the bore follow the model. Send the 3D file and we return a quotation with the tool cost and the unit price.
